10 Things We All Are Hating About Greenpower Mobility

Greenpower Mobility - All-Energy Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicles

Greenpower creates and manufactures, as well as distributes the entire range of heavy and medium-duty electric vehicles. This includes transit buses, school buses, as well as cargo buses and shuttles.

EV Star is a zero-emission vehicle that offers a lot of customisation. It's also FTA certified and Buy America compliant. It offers class-leading range, ADA wheelchair provisions, and cargo delivery configurations.

GreenPower Motor Company manufactures a complete line of medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicles, including models with lower and high floors.  green mobility scooter  & Chassis is their flagship model, and it is able to be adapted to suit a variety of applications. The platform's design philosophy of clean sheets allows for optimal battery pack placement and lower center of gravity, which results in better payload to range ratios.

The EV Star REEFERX is designed to be used for mid-to-last mile refrigerated delivery and catering. The refrigerated truck's class 4 design's one wall structure inside and higher insulation than traditional trucks enable seamless sanitation, better temperature control, and a longer life.  green mobility scooters  REEFERX has a higher capacity for cargo and an industry-leading payload to reach the range of zero-emission goods or passenger transportation.

GreenPower partnered with Perrone Robotics in order to equip the EV Star with TONY (To navigate you) autonomous vehicle systems, which will enable fleets to easily make the transition to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star will also be capable of wireless charging up to 75 kW.

We were capable of testing the EV9 on a local highway for several hours and found it to be simple to drive and comfortable to drive long distances. The EV9 can be used to block the sound of traffic and wind driving on the highway. It rides smoothly over ruts and humps. The acceleration is extremely quick and the vehicle has adjustable regenerative braking that allows "one pedal driving" by lifting off of the accelerator.

The EV9 provides a large range and can be charged in just three hours or less at home, or by using any commercial charger. The driver can choose from two operating modes: eco mode and sport mode. Eco mode focuses on the torque as well as cruise control and handling while sport mode focuses on speed. Both modes are fun to drive, and offer an unforgettable experience for those who've never experienced driving an electric vehicle before.

GreenPower offers several other eVehicles, including a multipurpose all-electric minibus dubbed the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA-compliant and can be used for executive shuttles, microtransit and transit buses, vanpools, or paratransit vehicles.

GreenPower produces approximately 10 EV Star buses per month for the Jacksonville Transit Authority. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their fleet of diesel vehicles with 100 all-electric cars. With the Biden Administration aiming to electrify schools across the nation, GreenPower plans on ramping production to meet the demand. Their EV Star bus is the first of its kind to be tested in Altoona and FMVSS-certified, Buy America compliant and ADA conforming. This means they'll be eligible for federal transit assistance grants. Stay tuned for updates as we follow the AV Star on its tour of demonstration later this year. We will be sure to provide more information on this innovative EV!
